The M.U.D. was a highly ambitious product concept developed for deployment in emerging markets, designed as a subscription-based solar power station for the home.

Positioned as an alternative to kerosene, it was engineered to deliver a significantly lower operating cost—approximately one third of the fuel it replaced—while providing safe, clean, and reliable electrical power.

Built for extreme durability, the unit was fully waterproof and mechanically robust enough to withstand severe physical abuse in real-world conditions. It was capable of simultaneously powering multiple LED light sources across several rooms while charging mobile devices.

Beyond the hardware, the M.U.D. represented the foundation of a broader energy-as-a-service ecosystem, with the potential for scalable deployment across distributed communities and evolving service layers over time.
