A structured, design-led approach to product development can deliver substantial commercial and environmental gains.

For World Centric, reducing material usage was a critical priority, particularly as the existing products were underperforming mechanically. The challenge was clear: create a stronger product with a more distinctive aesthetic while significantly reducing material consumption.

Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to guide the redesign process, the resulting improvements were substantial. Material usage was reduced by between 25% and 60%, while mechanical performance improved dramatically across the product range.
